Schwalm, Martos & Co PC was formed in 1992. Myrle Schwalm and Manuel Martos had both recently left one of the “Big 8” international accounting firms and wanted to begin their own accounting practices in Las Cruces, NM. Since they had worked well together while at the Big 8 firm, they concluded that their respective skills and talents could be combined into the core of an accounting firm that would place a high value on clients, staff, and the community.
